Maxime Maufra is a little different than most painters you read about. Originally from Nantes, France he started off as a businessman who painted because he loved to do it. It wasn’t until he was almost 30 that Maufra decided to focus exclusively on painting and had by that point only been painting in the impressionist style for 6 years.
